No news is good news?

We really have no new and exciting news on the adoption to update. We have turned in our home study paperwork. We are now waiting on them to process it and contact all the references we had to provide.

This time of waiting came at the perfect time. In the last weeks we have been overwhelmed with the loss of Pop and sickness that we have passed back and forth a couple times. While we will not always be thankful for the waiting part of adoption, we were this time.

Lately I find myself listening to the song “Say Amen” because I cannot find the words to say it any better…

Anybody here brought through the fire

Anybody here found joy in the middle of sorrow
Just Say AMEN!

God is faithful, able, and truly bringing joy from our sorrow.
