Envelope Fundraiser

Our homestudy is complete! Praise God! Our social worker made a comment as she was walking through our house Friday. She said, “You all have a great support system!” We have the best.

When we began this journey we felt as though we were literally walking off a cliff. God has (many times through you all) provided solid ground that has risen up for each step. We are so grateful. Now we are waiting for our homestudy to be typed up and for final approval. At that time we will be considered a waiting family.

We have done all we have to do as far as paperwork and interviews, so now we are turning our attention to raising the remainder of the money we need to complete the adoption. This money will be due at the time of placement (whether that is a few weeks from now or a few years). It will also go to cover attorney fees when we appear before the judge to finalize the adoption.

Here are the details…

We have envelopes with the numbers 1-200 on them. If you would like, you can request an envelope (or envelopes) from us. The number you request is the amount of money you give. For example, if you request number 20, you return the envelope with $20. The envelope will also contain a small card. We ask, if you would like, that you write a note to our future child on that card. The cards will be placed in a photo album and shared with them when they are older. We think this will be a neat way to show them the many people God used to bring them home. As always we are so thankful for any amount given, but most of all we are thankful for the prayers and support you all have given us. We are loved by the best there is!
