Fundraising

hroughout the year we will be hosting various fundraisers to help offset the cost of adoption! In some of our first blog posts we went over the basics cost of adopting and while that number is big, our God is bigger! We firmly believe that the Lord will provide us the needed funds for adoption and one of the ways He will do that is through our fundraisers!

Each of our fundraisers will be listed on this page so you can easily find them.

Envelope Fundraiser

Kayla and I are so excited to launch what could be our final adoption fundraiser!

We fully expect to be a “Waiting Family” within the next 30-45 days. While that does not mean that we will have a baby in 30-45 days, it does mean that we become eligible to be placed at that time and placement could happen quickly.

If placement does happen quickly we are required to pay the remaining adoption fees ($10,000) at that time. We therefore felt the time was right to launch what will be the biggest fundraiser of the entire process …. the envelope fundraiser.

How it works

• We will be marking 200 envelopes with the numbers 1-200 (logically!).
• People then select an envelope to sponsor
• The envelope you select is the amount of money you are pledging to donate.
• We send you (or you can pick up) that envelope and place the money in it (as well as a note to write to our future baby) and send it/give it back to us.

If this fundraiser is successful we should not only have the rest of our adoption money raised but also money for our lawyer fees (to finalize the adoption). As you can tell, this is an incredible fundraiser!

One of the many great things I love about this fundraiser is that it allows for donations of any amount. We believe that no amount is too big or too small!
